Using Export PDF, I thought it would convert my scan to Word .

I scanned a document into my computer and then hoped to convert it to Word so that I and others could edit it.  It still looks like a scan with no toolbar for editing.  How will I be able to edit it? GBJ@

Did you perform text recognition (OCR) during the conversion?  This is required in order to get editable text.

I have the same question.  The doc says to enable OCR, which it is by default.  However, I see no option to enable to disable OCR, and my scanned PDF, with images containing text, was not converted.   Conversion to RTF instead of Word worked, but the quality is poor.
