Using the textmarker in Acrobat DC doesn't work correctly

I recently installed Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015 and updated it to the latest version 2015.006.30173. I have problems with the textmarker / text highlighting in text pdf files (e.g. academic article): when I mark one line (which is working proberly) it is then impossible to mark the next line right below because the marker tool always selects the highlighting from the line above, rather than highlighting the current line under the cursor. This happens in all kind of documents (e.g. standard and double column articles). Zooming in for more correct positioning of the curso also doesnt help. It is no problem though to leave one line and mark the next line ...

Can anybody help?
