We needed to get a new PC and therefore we lost the starting program of Adobe Acrobat 8 professional program.  This is on CD and will not function without new updates.  How do we do that? We have licens (ref: 12369612042) and need to be able to install this on the new PC

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by "starting program" - you mean the installer?

You can download the installer from http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-8-9-product-downloads.html

However, there is no guarantee that it will work on some newer operating systems.
