I want to scan several printed pages to my computer and then be able to convert it to a document that can be edited in Word.  Which is the best product for this purpose?

    Hi chrisinpensacola,

Your best bet may be OCR software that works with your scanner to convert printed characters into digital text. Look for one that saves in Word format.

You could use Acrobat Pro or Standard to scan to PDF with OCR, and then save as Word format from Acrobat. But unless you have a need to create PDFs and well, and Word format is what you really want, I think the more direct route is the best way to go.

    Best,
