Question

When converting PDF to Word the text does not reflect the text of the PDF document.

A great deal of the converted text (50%+) is undecipherable.  This includes both numbers and upper and lower case characters.  Forms are not useable. My O/S is Windows 7.

      I use Adobe Reader XI to convert my files from PDF to Word 2010.  Mostly, I convert scanned files.

      So, Reader cannot convert PDF to other file formats.
      The not free application Acrobat XI can do this.
      Adobe has some online subscription services that can do this. 
      But, Adobe Reader cannot.
