When I try to buy a subscription, which I already have by the way and it is current through July 2019, it says I already have this subscription and therefore cannot buy it. In the meantime, I can't use the service.

Adobe PDF Pack is an online service that you can use online via Adobe Document Cloud You can also use the services through free desktop version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions
Make sure you are using the latest version of Adobe Reader to export pdf. Also, make sure that you are "Signing In" using the correct email address under which you have made the purchase.
