When sending a PDF with Adobe Send & Track, it cannot be viewed from an iphone

When sending a PDF with Adobe Send & Track, it cannot be viewed from an iphone. When the clients try to access the pdf by clicking the link in the email, they get a blank browser window.

It is stated in the FAQ for send & track that a person receaving a pdf-link should be able to preview and download the pdf from computer, tablet or smartphone, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Any solutions or comments on that?

Thank you in advance.

Hi tkr,

On your iPhone, what is the web browser you use?  Is it Safari (the default web browser on iOS)?

If so, would you try the following steps?

  1. Go to the home screen.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Scroll down to find Safari in the left pane.
  4. Tap Safari.
  5. Disable "Block Pop-ups" (i.e. allow pop-ups).
  6. Restart Safari.
  7. Tap the link again to open the PDF.

Please let us know if it works for you.  Thank you.

Hi,

Please click on the link in the email which opens the document in the browser. With that there will be a blue color Download button on the right side. Tap the button to download the file.

Let me know if this works.

Thanks,

Abhishek

Hi Abhishek,

Thank you for taking your time to answer. Unfortunately link in the email results in the blank browser window - it does not open the document...
