where can I find my serial number

Question

I keep getting asked to activate a licence for Acrobat Pro XI that I already purchased and it asks me for a serial number that I do not know or have record of?  Very frustrating.  Normally I just click on a PDF and it launches and if I want to use Acrobat Pro XI I click on the icon in my doc.

Hi peterh85975107,I checked your account to see if I could tell whether you had an Acrobat subscription or perpetual version, but I don't see any record of either using the email address that you use to post here in the forums.So, if you have a perpetual version (you bought Acrobat outright), then please see this document: Find your serial number quickly.If you have a subscription version, then no serial number is required, and you "activate" your software by logging in with the Adobe ID/email address and password that you used to sign up.If you're still having trouble, please Contact Customer Care.Best,Sara
