Why can't I edit form fields after filling the form?

Question

I saved my pdf after filling it in, but now some of it is wrong and  need to go back and edit it. I can't move any of the fill and sign X or check marks nor can I edit the text boxes it wanted me to fill in, or any of the other elements. how do change what i filled in? it has all the correct permissions in security to edit, it just wont let me. and prepare document only lets me move the documents fill and sign content around it doesn't let me change the content inside.

Please let us know if you have also signed and saved the document after completing it.

Would you mind sharing how the PDF form was sent to you? Do you get any error messages when trying to change the fields?

It would be helpful if you could share the PDF form with us (if there is no confidential information). Or share the PDF form copy which is not filled.
