why can't I get my file that is interactive to work on my Iphone?

when I use reader on my Iphone or Ipad to use my interactive files that are in a portfolio they are not fillable. It comes up and says they are attachment and can not be changed. when I do them as individual files they work fine. What am I doing wrong?
