Why can't I make changes to my document?

I have tried to edit a document and the allienment is off and the words are in different fonts. How do I make the changes?

    Hi Gene,

    Is there a chance your document was from a scan? What is the document type you are trying to convert and what are you converting it to with your PDF Pack subscription?

    Have you tried this OCR solution?

    Hi Stacy,

    It is a scanned document.  If I use the OCR then I can't edit the document.  I scanned in the document so I could make changes to to it, but when I make the changes the font is different.  I have tried to use all the same settings.
