why didn't the pictures in my pdf file convert over when I open my word processing program

I have a pdf file that included pictures, it was a flyer for advertising.  The converted document when I open in word processing does not include the pictures. Is anyone else having this issue?

    Please try disabling OCR as described in this document: How to disable Optical Character Recognition (OCR) when converting PDF to Word or Excel.  If the images still don' t appear, please let us know and we will take it from there.
