Why do I keep getting the popup to continue my trial subscription for Acrobat XI Pro when I already have one?

I already have a subscription (and have for a year now) and today I got a popup message to obtain a subscription when I printed a pdf file.  Now I can't get rid of the message and it prohibits me from continuing working in Acrobat.

    I wonder, since it is a year, if your subscription has run out, and there is a problem with renewing it (e.g. credit card rejected). Try checking your Adobe account info to see if the subscription is active.

    No, everything is up-to-date.  Adobe Technical Support told me to click on the 'License Software' button and sign-in (again) and it would recognize that I have an existing subscription.  Maybe they need to update the popup to let people know this.......and it won't open another subscription.
