why isn't my converted pdf opening in excel

Question

I converted my pdf to Excel after buying into adobe's convert option. After the conversion was finished I'm unable to open it in my excel program. I get an "no more new fonts my be applied in this workbook." then the ok button, after pushing the ok button a number of times with no excel worksheet.

Worth a try.
