Word document save as massive PDF files

Hi,

I often save word documents as PDF before sending but recently my PDFs have come up as massive files (350MB). It's only a little text and 1 image! Cannot find anywhere where I can set /amend my saving preferences. Can anyone help?

Please let me know what version of Acrobat and OS you are using.

How have you been trying to convert your word files to PDF? Are you using PDF printer or PDFMaker option?

Let me know the details so that i can analyze your issue.

Hello Anubha,

Thanks for your reply.

I am using OSX 10.10.5 Yosemite and Acrobate Reader XI 11.0.12

From my word document, I save as and select PDF in the format dropdown menu. I am not using Printer of PDF maker (I dont think so anyways!)
