Action menu keep changing back to Edit

Question

Is there a way to prevent the left side menu from going back to the main Edit Page menu every time? If I select a shape from the Elements menu and edit such shape (going into the shape edit menu), when I leave the shape edit I expect the menu to go back to the Elements menu, not the main Edit Page menu, which has absolutely nothing to the with the actions I was just doing.

This is very upsetting UI, guys. Is there a way to prevent this from happening with the existing configuration? I very much appreciate any input.

Hi ​@caring_ninjacd60,That's a fair frustration - backing out of a shape edit and landing on the main Edit Page menu instead of the Elements panel you came from means an extra couple of clicks every time to get back to where you were.Being straight with you: as far as I know there isn't a setting to change that behavior...the panel returning to the top-level Edit menu rather than the panel you entered from is how the navigation currently works, not something configurable on your end.This is great product feedback - "when I exit a sub-panel edit, return me to the panel I came from, not the top-level menu" is a specific, reasonable UX ask, and that's the kind of thing the team weighs.
