Add hair highlights?

Question

Is there a way to add hair highlights in Adobe Express? I know it's supported in Photoshop, but I'm using Express because ... it's free.

If the consensus is 'no', then can anyone recommend to me a (free) alternative way to get this done?

Well, I tried a white overlay from design assets, a white wavy line or half moon from Shapes, and a lowercase letter L in a handwritten font, all on Screen blend mode with the opacity turned down. I wasn't convinced by the result. Wavy lines and letter L's could possibly work if you spend time picking a lighter colour from your actual image.

As for a free way to achieve this, possibly the Fresco free version might do what you want. you could import your hair image and paint on it.
