Adobe Express: Can't change the font colour of my ttf

Hi there! I've uploaded fonts in the past directly through Adobe Express (not through ACC) and had no issues. In this case the .ttf file shows in the preview as green and the font colour cannot be changed whatsoever. It's 14.25mb large and has no other issues with effects and sizing other than the default colour and the inability to change the colour. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks!

Hi Tarun,

Do you know how I can make this file not a color font? I'm confused because the file type is a ttf and when I double click the ttf the previews show in black. Thanks!

Hey @social_Dusk4092, We suggest you use a similar-looking font to fulfill your requirements until we can provide you with the information you're looking for.

You may use https://adobe.ly/4o2Yqws , upload the image of the font you want, and select one from the similar options that appear.

Hope this helps!

Thanks!

Hi @social_Dusk4092, Welcome to our Adobe Express Community!

Thanks for flagging this. It definitely sounds unusual, especially if other font aspects are working fine. Just a few quick questions to help us troubleshoot further:

  • When did you first start noticing this issue with the font color? Did it happen anytime before?

  • Does this happen with any other uploaded fonts, too, or just this specific one?

  • Have you tried using Adobe Express in a private/incognito browser window to see if the issue persists?

  • And if possible, could someone else who has access to the same font try uploading it to see if they get the same result?

Also, could you share the .ttf file with us so we can test it? Once we have a bit more information, we’ll be able to look into it more closely.

Best!

Hello,

I noticed the issue shortly before posting in the community page. It has
never happened before. It hasn't happened with other uploaded fonts. I have
not tried a private browser but I am happy to do that now. I don't know
anyone else that uses Adobe Express. I tried sending the ttf file but I
received a mail notification saying the message was too large. I don't know
what the message limit is, but the TTS file is about 14.25MB. Thanks!

Kind Regards,
Mike

Hi @social_Dusk4092,

Could you please try uploading the file to a cloud storage link and then share that link with us to download and investigate the further?

Regards,

Tarun
