Adobe Express - Colour mode??

Hi Everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone knowns if Adobe Express colours are in CMYK or RGB? or if we can change it using Adobe Express to CMYK?

    If I’m understanding your request correctly, I have great news - CMYK PDF export is now available in Adobe Express!

     

    Here's how:

    1. Open your file and select Download
    2. Under File format, select PDF Print (Best for printing)
    3. Select Add crop marks and Show bleed if needed
    4. Under Color mode, you can choose between RGB and CMYK

    Why isn’t a CMYK profile an option? Adobe is making it impossible for me to create a print template. Indesign, Acrobat, and now Express don’t support interactive fields with CMYK color profiles.

    Adobe Express primarily uses the RGB color model, suitable for digital displays and online content. It does not natively support CMYK, commonly used for print materials. For converting RGB to CMYK, additional software like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is needed. Adobe Express is ideal for web and digital design, not print color management.

      Adobe Express is a completely different and separate product from Photoshop Express.

      They can both be used for creating social media content but have very different tool sets and features.

        @Sajid30836256kxje I use PS/AI, but this would be a useful feature for non-designers who are afraid of Photoshop and would prefer to use something like Canva. Canva has the option to download PDFs in CMYK, so I think Adobe Express could do the same. It would open up a lot more avenues for design templates, and for clients to manage and update design files themselves at the end of a design project.

            Hey @chantelles7230449,

             

            I'd like to inform you that the default colour profile for Adobe Express is RGB and converting it to CMYK within Adobe Express is currently not possible. However, you can use other adobe apps to perform this function.
