Adobe Express: Export to PDF color profile problem

I've been using adobe express mainly for social media but every now and then, I like to export a pdf for enhanced work in Illustrator. Today, I found that the color was flat (lower contrast) and cyan/green, as compared to my exported jpgs and pngs (see attached).

My workflow typically is on an Apple Ipad and I use a desktop to export the PDF from the Adobe Express (cloud app). Just to mention, I use Dell UP3216Q monitor which is 98% Adobe RGB. Going back and forth between monitors as a reasonable but acceptable contrast difference.

According to Photoshop, the source color profile for both files is sRGB. I tried to adjust the color profile in Acrobat and Photoshop to other color profiles P3, Wide Gamut, Adobe RGB, Apple, etc and nothing really comes close.

I'll be happy to implement a workaround using the aforementioned apps, but perhaps the backend could be re-checked?

Kind Regards, Eric

Update: I neglected to mention that I just started to import directly from adobe lightroom into adobe express. Originally, I 've exported jpgs out of lightroom and then imported directly into Express. However, in this project I imported the woman as a jpg from the iPad camera roll but imported the house directly from lightroom.  When I use Acrobat output preview via the print production module, I saw that ProPhoto corrects for the sitting woman but oversaturates the house photo. Using the default sRGB preview, the house looks more normal but the portrait is dull as mentioned above. To correct this, I replaced imported the woman photo directly from Lightroom. The exported pdf looked consistant to the jpgs I've exported from Express. The learning lesson here is to be consistent with the imports as there doesn't seem to be an automatic convert to profile inherent in Adobe Express. Perhaps this could be an internal feature worth reviewing.
