Adobe Express Hide layers?

Question

How can i do a simple hide/unhide layer?
Why express is so overly complex in spots and so extreme limited in others?
Can't do a simple hide layer (eye icon isn't anywhere )
I can set up as replace image, but - the replace location swaps from brands to projects to libraries to assets?
NO. It doesnt need to be that obscure.
A simple hide/unhide layer is so basic.
So of course we have to lower opacity on each layer and then guess blind what that layer is - because the layer thumbnail is now 0% opacity and completely blank?

As of now, hiding layers isn't available in Adobe Express, but you can let our product team know about this by dropping a feature request here: https://adobe.ly/42P7Kuk

As a workaround, you can select some layers and group them, which will shorten the layer list on the right side.

Have you tried the drag-and-drop feature to replace images? You may need to drag any desired image to the canvas above the existing image selection.
