Adobe Express: Not exactly Adobe like in functiion

Design problem: Cropped version doesn't crop the alpha channel. Saving the file will always include the whole image area before it was cropped

Hi @bigBlueMango

Thank you for posting about this. Just to confirm my understanding, are you expecting the app to crop the entire image and just a selected layer? Also, what type of device are you working on, browser or mobile app?

This project was from a selected screen shot, attempt to crop just an image, and nothing else, with the full shot being brought in. I hadn't realised there were layers to Express, but I defo attempted the whole image, not just a layer. Done on a laptop

Welcome to the community. Did you check this article on how you can crop the image- https://adobe.ly/4gF5YAH?

 

Also, try cropping the image before importing it or using the crop tool within Express to adjust it properly.
