Adobe Express Premium is being removed from creative cloud All apps plan?

"We hope you have been enjoying your complimentary access to Adobe Express Premium with your Adobe Acrobat plan. Complimentary access to Adobe Express Premium is coming to an end on May 25, 2025, but don’t worry, you will continue to have access to the Adobe Express free plan."

I don't have an Acrobat plan. it's supposed to be an all-apps plan. Contacted support and the response was

" apologize for the inconvenience however, per the update the Adobe Express will be available as a separate plan from 25 May 2025 at the price of GBP 8.68/month + taxes."

I find it disgusting that Adobe can do this in the middle of a contract but if I was to try to cancel my plan early now I will be charged.

Anyone know what the hell just happend?

I still had access last week to all the premium features and today everything is locked away and asking me for a plan? I prepaid my Abo for a year until april 2026 how in the world can they just remove one of the offerings in the middle of my "pre-paid" Abo? If been using Acrobat and Express since 2023 and today I need to think about getting Canvas now instead ???

I am having the same problem. Our nonprofit bought the Acrobat Pro/Adobe Express Premium package for a year, and now they took the Premium access away this month - not back in May. I used it last month and now it's gone. The representitives just keep trying to sell me what I already bought. So frustrating because Canva won't give our nonprofit a discount because we are adult education and not K-12 or college.

Yes! I've not had my Acrobat subscription Long but i bought this as Express Premium was included! Why have Adobe taken this access away! It's so Frustrating, i dont want to spend more money!!!!

Frustrating doesn't cut it. This is extremely annoying and worrying. It comes down to one simple word Trust. You need trust to build long-term relationships. I've been with Adobe CC since it started. It was an attractive and constantly fresh basket of creative fruit, but now I feel uncertain about the whole package. Are the more rotten apples? My trust is not lost, but it is severely bruised. And yes I am frustrated. Richard

I also have the same issue. Have had Adobe Express as part of my plan for years. Today, I went to use it and suddenly there are a bunch of "premium" featuers that I don't have access to and it's asking me to upgrade. I contacted customer support and they're telling me that it's not included and I have to purchase an Adobe Express plan which is not acceptable because I've had it for years and it was part of my plan. I have over 100 projects saved all using premium features/fonts that I wouldn't have been able to create if I didn't have access. They just keep telling me that it's not included and that I have to pay extra. I can't believe they just remove this from my plan without any notice and then gaslight me about never having it when I have tons of work on the app. And, now want me to pay more.

Recently, there have been updates to how Adobe Express is packaged within different Adobe plans. In some cases, access to premium Express features may now require a separate Adobe Express plan, depending on your subscription type.

Thank you. I am on the Photography Plan which I've been on for years and included Adobe Express. Not only did the price of the photography plan increase $5 but Adobe Express was removed. Now I have all of this work that I use for my business using fonts that I can't edit because they are premium and it's asking me to upgrade. I just want Adobe Express added back to my plan as it always was. I'm already paying more than I was since cost went up and, if I have to add Adobe Express, I'll be spending 2.5x what I was just a few months ago so I can continue to use the apps I've been using all these years without issue and for much less.

Hello Dave, are you certain that you have a Creative Cloud All Apps plan? You say it's "supposed to be All Apps" so can you sign in to https://account.adobe.com/ and see what it says there (although I've just looked at mine and there is a message that there is some system updating going on) and look for something like this:

If you click the link I've underlined in red you'll find Adobe Express is still there under the tab Web:

Is it possible you only have an Adobe Acrobat subscription? Do you use other apps like Photoshop or Illustrator? Was this an email you received from Adobe? Determining exactly what subscription you have will help to understand what's going on.

I have since received this email

"Greetings from Adobe!

We apologize for the confusion regarding the Adobe Express premium plan being removed from your account. Rest assured the email you received concerns customer with Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Standard plans alone.

You will continue to enjoy the services with your plan to Creative Cloud All Apps"

Seems to have just been poor email communications followed by worse customer service.

Oh well no harm no foul.

Hey Adobe!

In a similar trend to the pattern outlined in this thread, I received an email from message@adobe.com this week, informing me that my access to Adobe Express Premium woud cease at the end of May. I originally had -- for years! -- a single subscription to Adobe Express Premium, but when I later subsribed to Adobe Creative Cloud, the Adobe Express Premium subscription was subsumed under it. Now after about a year with Creative Cloud, I'm losing my original Adobe Expreess Premium access? That simply will not do. Not cool.

I'm perfectly happy to pay extra to keep my AE Premium service; what I absolutely cannot do, nor abide, is being forced to use the free version. I will lose all my work -- and my future work -- which require access to my premium Adobe Express subscription. Where is there even the option to purchase AE Premium individually? I haven't been able to find it, neither in my account nor plan management options, nor in your help/FAQ pages.

WHAT GIVES?!

Hello @Anne Marie38605345sgz0 I've moved your post here to this topic about Adobe Express being removed from Creative Cloud All Apps. I see that you received an email seeming to come from Adobe. As I have mentioned to @Dave Maddocks above, Adobe Express Premium is still included within Creative Cloud All Apps (see screenshots above) and also, this Help page for Adobe Express from October 2024 still lists it as available in the All Apps and some single app plans. Adobe Express Premium

I suppose I'm wondering if this is a just a sophisticated spam email and needs further investigation, but that will have to wait for when people are back in the office.
