Adobe Express / PSD Clipping Paths

I am working on developing a use case for our Creative team to illustrate the benefits of using Adobe Express for some of our projects.  I have the CI Hub connector linked to our Acquia DAM and can drag and drop assets easily.  However the PSD files are not recognizing the clipping paths we have created.  Does AE not recognize clipping paths? If not, how should we place those assets to have the background removed?
