AE is now completely useess

Are others experiencing a terrible experience with the new AE? It's gone all AI but in the worst way. I can't easily find my old files. It's a slower workflow,  it's lost all the creativity and replaced it with low quality AI. The old AE was so much better and now I'm going to have to look for an alternative. Any suggestions?
