Anyone else notice the enshitifacation of Adobe Color?

Ok Adobe color was never perfect, but at least it worked. It had fuctionality that shared its purpose. But it lived in a separate dimension and was not integrated with other Adobe products. I would love to see it form part of creative cloud in the centre of the hub. But really? Who thought it was ok to release a buggy, dumbed down version of Adobe color and hide it somewhere in adobe Express.

One that note, come on guys the main reason most of us, your paying clients pay top dollar is because the creative cloud suite is powerful and professional. I would never switch to Canva, so why do you think the way forward is to be more like Canva?

Back to Adobe color, In my opinion: The main thing lacking in my view was a work-flow that would allow you to frictionlessly create a color palette and frictionlessly add it as a swatch in the photoshop, indesign and ilustrator etc. Now that would be integration!!

Work stoppers:

• When you want to change a colour by importing a hex from outside, you have to click change colour, select hex in the top right drop down menu, and then copy and paste (see bug1). Finding - the workflow is now is now 3 clicks and a menu navigation - before it was one two clicks one to open the change color, one to select, change and paste.
• Clicking on the Adobe icon top-left. does not take you to home - it takes you to Adobe Express. There is now obvious way back from Adobe epxpress to adobe color - its a dead end. You have use browser navigation. Finding - Adobe color is still not integrated.
• Saving a color palette to library. There is no longer a way to edit it, or make changes, as there was before. To do something useful with a saved palette ie.e use it. you have to click on the unintuitive I (info icon top right). Finding the workflow is currently broken. 
• Preferred actions for a saved palette. Download as, jpeg, pdf. etc. AND open in APP Ps, Ai, Id etc. AND edit - reopen in adobe color to make changes. Finding There are no useful actions from a saved palette.

Bugs:

1. When you want to import a hex code and click on the field the pop up window closes. I am on a mac, using chrome. The second or third time it works.
2. The i (info) icon top right is broken. won’t let you get your hexes to work with them. I have to use colorslurp to retrive the colors from a saved palette. Not ideal!

Conclusion

I’m sure there are more issues and bugs, but I don’t work for you as QA, if you like you can write to me and hire me as a QA since the one’s you have on the job are obviously not very good!!!

Experience so far has been disappointing and frustrating - enough to write this report.
