Question

Asset Can't Be Licensed

I selected a template spent a while working on it and now I can't save it. Even if I wanted to remove an asset, I couldn't because there is no clear way for me to know which asset is that asset number. It should be highlighted with a red border box at the very least.

I am confused by the licensing types. I have an Adobe Express premium account and want to know how I can use the stock photos for the websites I build for my clients. Someone mentioned something like ''One can not just download a pic and use it/upload to the website but must first modify the image in Adobe Express and then download the modified version...''

What does it count as a modification if I want the picture exactly as it is and do not want to add any elements or other graphics to it?

Have been trying to google this for an answer but I am getting more confused by some answers provided far now. If someone can help me clarify this it will be very much appreciated.

Thank you in advance

Hi

@Denida366610462iot

,

Thanks for your patience. Did you check this article to understand the Adobe stock license information- https://adobe.ly/3V1gA5k?

Let us know if that helps.

Hi, I'm experiencing the same issue and can't figure how to recognize the problem. These are posts I just prepared and mostly with my own assets, or things I just found in the Adobe Express elements today. I'm using all licensed fonts and elements. This is urgent. Please help.

Hi @BirdLXIV

Sorry for the trouble. Totally agree, we are actively working on making the identification of non-licensable assets easier.

In the meantime, you can check https://stock.adobe.com/Dashboard/LicenseHistory for your history. You can type in the asset id in the search field there; that might reveal what the asset looks like

Hope this helps
