just want black background, how to do that, steps?

Hi,

I think the easiest way is to select the background layer in your project and click then on "choose solid color" on the right Panel and then the color you want.

this is incredibly unclear

where is this 'background; icon? is it on right side

need full steps that is perfectly clear

do you pick the 'colors' on right side, that seems closest?

very confusing app, needs a redesign

Hi,

yes, in your Browser you select the Layer. Then on the right Side appears as seen on the Screenshot "Edit Background". There you "Choose solid Color" and from there it should be clear.

If you are in the App e.g. on Apple Devices you Also choose the (empty) Layer then you select "Color" that appears under the Layer Preview and from there you choose your color.

If you play around with the app the Steps get pretty clear! Hope that helps.
