In Adobe Express, when two shapes of the same size are stacked and both objects are selected, the user cannot unselect the top object by clicking on it while holding shift (as is the pattern in all other Adobe products).

Hi @Jillian21906331oylb

When you drag to select objects in Adobe Express, the first object that gets selected is the one that was initially clicked. This is why Shift + Click on the top object (according to the layer order) does not work as expected.

To fix this, try selecting objects manually or ensure you are clicking precisely on the object you want to select or deselect.

Shift click works. Hope this is helpful. Thank you!
