I have exactly the same issue! I´ve made templates for my team to use, but we discovered some issues with it so I have to change it and update the templates. I am the creator of them, and can´t for the life of me figure out how to update a template! Does anyone have a solution?

Hi @jannickes77403154 and @Kristen25161969xg68

Unfortunately, Adobe Express doesn't have a direct "Update Template" feature. However, there are ways you can work around this to effectively make updates to your templates for your team.

  • Open the Original Template:

    • Go to your Projects or Library where the template is stored.
    • Open the original template that you want to update.
  • Make the Necessary Changes:

    • Modify the template as needed—correcting the issues you've discovered or making updates to any element of the design.
  • Save as a New Template:

    • Once you've made the updates, save the project with a new name (e.g., "Template Version 2") to avoid confusion with the older version.
    • To do this, click on File > Save As (or look for a similar option depending on the platform you're using) and give it a new name.
  • Share the Updated Template:

    • After saving the updated template, you’ll need to share it again with your team.

Let me know if you need more details on any of these steps! Thanks ^CA

Thank you for your fast reply! This is what I have been doing, but when there are restrictions to which fonts one can use in the template, it doesnt really work. So that means that I have to copy everything to a new file, and then make a new template.
Or did I miss something? 😅
