Can you please remove the multipe entries that the latest version of Express Photos has dumped into my Windows Start Menu? I only need one!

Since the last update to Express Photos, there are now SEVEN entries in my Windows Start Menu relating to it, instead of only one. They are shortcuts to particular functions, but as these are all readily available from the app’s own menus, they are completely unnecessary in my opinion. They are just cluttering up the Start Menu. They aren’t even grouped together! There seems to be no way of changing this other than by just uninstalling the app. Can this be reviewed for future versions, please? Thanks, Dave. 🙂

    Hi @DaveH5!

I have an update for you - The multiple Start Menu entries are actually intentional, they're meant to help surface Express for different tasks (like Edit Photos, Remove Background, etc.) when searching in the Start Menu. On Windows 11, this works as intended and doesn't create multiple entries, just the one icon with options...

However, the team confirmed that on Windows 10 specifically, it displays the full list instead of the more targeted entries, which is what's causing the clutter you're seeing. They're taking note of this to clean up or disable the feature on Windows 10 if it can't be made to work as gracefully as it does on Windows 11.

I don't have a timeline yet, but I wanted to let you know this wasn't just an oversight, and your feedback is being taken into account for future versions. Thanks again for flagging it!

Hi Dave, thanks for flagging this, and no worries, that's a fair thing to be annoyed by!

Seven separate Start Menu entries for functions that are already in the app's own menus does sound like unnecessary clutter. Would you mind sharing a screenshot?

I don't have a way to change this on my end, but I'm going to check with our team on whether this is expected behavior with the latest update or something worth adjusting for future versions. I'll follow up here once I hear back.

Thanks Rose. Here’s a screenshot of the issue. You can see that there are now seven entries for Adobe Express Photos in the apps list. Six too many, in my opinion! Cheers, Dave.
