Question

Cannot see second audio layer?

I am making a video in Adobe Express, and added a music background audio. I then added a few clips of a voiceover to another audio layer. Both are playing fine still when I play the video, however, at some point I lost the ability to see the music layer that plays throughout the course of the track - although I was able to originally see and edit both. There's no option for me to display all layers in "switch views," so I am unsure of how I can access this hidden audio to edit it.

Thanks

Same problem! I uploaded an audio track to my video, and now want to switch to a different one, but I can't see the audio layer anymore. Can't figure out how to select it to delete/replace it at all - the green waveform layer is completely gone from layer view, but the audio still plays.

Hi @BRITTANY33552876ik36,

We’re sorry you’re running into this issue – that must be frustrating.

Sometimes the audio layer may appear hidden due to the app view or a display bug. Try closing and reopening the project, or restarting the app. If possible, check if the layer appears when zooming out or switching views.

Could you share a screenshot or a short screen recording showing the missing layer? You can also share the file with me via private message. This will help our engineers investigate faster.

Hi @widian_2167, Welcome to our Adobe Express community!

Thanks for sharing the details. Would it be possible for you to share a screen recording or a screenshot of the Adobe Express editor window, so we can see what is showing up for you?

When I tried to replicate this by adding a BG music and 2 voice-overs, it shows up like this ( please refer to the screenshot)

Let us know how it comes for you so we can investigae this further!

Thanks!

Thanks for your time! Here is a screenshot of what I see.  There is music playing the entire time when I play this video, and the smaller segments are voiceovers which are also playing at the correct times. I just cannot see the audio for the music. The music isn't a part of the videos, as all of the videos themselves are muted.

Thanks for your response @widian_2167,

Can you please share the project with me via private message with edit access? Private messages should be accessible from the envelope in the top right corner. This should be the direct URL https://adobe.ly/4pj9aaB
