Question

Change Text Style

I am using iPad Pro
The old (better!) version had a style option that appeared in the shape of a wheel. As you circled the wheel it auto-altered the layout (& sometimes colour) of your text. This was an amazing feature but I can find it nowhere on the new version. Is this still a feature & if so, where is it located?

Hi @Cherielynette,

Thank you for your feedback—we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

The text styling tools have been streamlined in our latest updates:

  • Text Formatting: Select your text and use the Text panel (right toolbar) for full styling options

  • Color/Gradient: Click the Fill color swatch for advanced adjustments

We're continuously improving Express based on user input.

Best regards,

^MM

You totally missed the point. And use language like "streamlined" is disengenuous. You mean, we threw away those great things, don't you?

Hi

@Maciba

,

Welcome to the community! Is it possible for you to share an example of this shape if you had used i any of your project?

We're here to help, just need some info.

Hi,
Unfortunately I cannot provide an example because whenever I open a file from the old version it converts it and replaces the fancy text style with a bog-standard font.

The function I am talking about will format your text in a number of various ways… such a format might be the middle word of a short sentence being placed at 90° to the rest and set at a different size whilst the words either side would be stacked upon each other (to describe just one style - there were many)

Actually, I found a couple of formats on posts I’ve made & have screenshot them.

Is this functionality available in the new version & if so, where is it located?

Thank you
Ian
