Changing thumbnail for duplicated projects

After duplicating an old project I find that I can not change the thumbnail. Please help.

I'm having the same issue. It started in mid-August. Prior to that when duplicating, the thumbnail would update to the new file.

YES! It's making me crazy! It always worked in the past.
