Collage feature glitching out

  • Issue summary: I will try to create a photo collage using often 3 to 9 photos, but the collage feature will only put one of the selected photos on and does this repeatedly
  • Product & version: Adobe Express mobile app
  • Platform: iOS
  • Steps to reproduce: Click “collage” option, select photos
  • Expected result: it should create a collage using each of the photos that I’ve selected
  • Actual result: It takes a long time to load and will only put one photo and does this REPEATEDLY to the point where I eventually give up
  • Attachments (optional, but VERY helpful): Screenshots, videos, or sample files

 

Making collages used to be SO simple and easy. I use it to photo journal and have for years. It now takes 2 to 3 times longer, if not more, to create one single collage. This makes me want to find other apps to use.

    Thank you for the recording - that made it really clear, and it's helped confirm what's going on. I can see exactly what you mean: you select your photos, and then it sits on that loading screen without finishing.

    It looks like after chatting with the team, it might be known issue our team already has logged and is working on - it's on their side with the Collage Maker getting stuck loading, not anything you're doing wrong. Your recording is a useful addition, so I'm attaching it to the report so they can see your specific case (including it ending up with just one photo).

    I don't have a fix date to share yet, but I'll post back here the moment I have an update. And I completely get the frustration - this used to be quick, and it shouldn't take this much fighting to make one collage.
