sorry @Amitej S but this is ridiculous. Do you think I was able to wait for your solution to convert all projects and folders for 2 weeks? This option would have been mandatory for the release as I wasn't taking a time off until Adobe gets the message. You can imagine how many hours I spent to convert every single project I needed to work on in the last days!
Update: Converting a Project (Instagram Post) that was only "cropping" a picture (no text, words, graphic stuff) was possible. Everything else still is not working. And the lost files are still missing.
Thanks for getting back, but please, I already spent almost two days looking for solutions and waiting and praying I'm not losing data. So the "easy solutions" already tested out several times. It's not working with other browsers, the cache is as empty as it gets. And on top of all the problems, the folder where the "not converted files" would go is now empty. So the Files I tried to convert disappeared completely. (they were once there) So it's as serious as it could get for somebody who is having a business based on your programm.
It's always the same procedure. I try to convert, it gives me the error and now it doesn't even put it in the originals folder as it did yesterday. So the file I just tried to convert is not in the old version anymore and also not in the new one.
Thank you for reaching out, and we are sorry you're having issues with converting your files.
What is the browser you're using? We recommend using Safari, Microsoft Edge or Chrome. Can you try with a different one or clear the caches? Can you try to convert from this link?
Here are the steps:
Click Move file on the project you want to migrate
Click Convert for Desktop
The conversion takes place
You will land in the editor for the new version of Express of the project you moved
If the issue persists, please send us a screenshot so we can see what happens.
