I don't know why you guys are only downloading to crdownload now and not mp4 but it doesn't work so I'm not using Adobe anymore.

Correct answer aircrewgirl

I think I figured it out. A setting was turned on in the programs that asks you if you want to save the file or open it.

Ask where to save each file before downloading
Always ask me if I want to save a file or open it without saving

If I use edge I can see the request but if using chrome I can't. I was able to turn off the setting when I opened up the actual app in edge (edge://settings/downloads#All)

Hi @K_S9010,

Thanks for reaching out, and we're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

To clarify — .crdownload Adobe Express doesn't create files. They are temporary download files generated by the Chrome browser when a file is still in the process of downloading. Once the download completes successfully, the file should automatically change to its correct format (e.g. .mp4).

If your file is stuck as .crdownload, it likely means the download was interrupted or incomplete. Try the following:

  • Re-download the file using a stable internet connection

  • Make sure to wait until the download is fully complete

  • Check your browser’s downloads folder for the final file

Let us know if you’re still running into issues — we’re happy to help!

Yep and your team gave up and sent me an email saying they were closing ticket etc. I know it's a temp file but that's how all your files are downloading now from different computers and networks and never converts to mp4 just stays CRdowload and it's NEVER happened before ever and I've downloaded the SAME EXACT files numerous times with no problems so it can't possibly be on my end.

Hey @K_S9010, I'm Reconfirming the issue you're facing: When you download/export any video file from Adobe Express, the file doesn't download fully. Does this capture the issue you have?

Are you also facing this with other export types (like PDF, PNG, or JPG)? Can you share the project file with us so we can test it on our end? Since when are you facing the issue? Were the other computers/networks on any VPN when you tested this? Are you able to download the project on a mobile device? Were there any changes/updates done to the browsers or any new plugins/extensions were added?

Please share your observations to investigate this and sort it out for you.

Thanks!

Amitej
