Create custom templates in illustrator or after effects?

Can you create templates in illustrator or after effects which can then be used in creative cloud express?

 

We want to have design controlled templates which our digital and marketing teams can access and repurpose consistently. 

 

Illustrator

Is this just as simple as creating assets and saving them to the library?

 

After effects

Do motion graphic templates work?

    Hi James, Creative Cloud Express users can add Ai or PSD files from their Creative Cloud Library inside of Creative Cloud Express and it will be added as a flat-file. Check out this article for more info: Creating and using Creative Cloud Libraries. Hope this helps.

    I am also very interested in this. Express's ONLY competitive advantage is the attachment to the adobe suite and the capacity to create templates in the industry leading software.

     

    If I wanted to use a trashy canva app.... I'd use canva.

    Adobe has been making some recent improvements to templates. You can now edit templates really easily https://adobe.ly/47grzNc you have ideas for integration with other Adobe apps please share them here https://adobe.ly/4niyJqf
