I am unable to work without your program "crashing" my designs. If I add to many layers, make to many changes, I loose my project. I have cleaned my cashe. Often I receive a message to the effect of "web GL disabled". I seem to be restarting my computer multiple times. Yesterday I worked on my android phone without any probllems but this is not a viable solution. Please provide a suitable solution otherwise I will have to look elsewhere. I am wasting valuable time.

I am creating on a Windows 10 desktop with Chrome.

Hi @heleneg16239604,

We're sorry to hear about your difficulties. This error generally rises due to the following reasons:

  •  WebGL and hardware acceleration were disabled in your browser
  • A browser plugin disabled WebGL
  • An IT organization has disabled WebGL on your machine
  • Your machine's hardware does not support WebGL

So, Since when have you been seeing this issue? Is there any recently installed plugin/extension? If Yes, could you try again after disabling the plugin > restarting Chrome Browser? Have you tried working on a different browser or in incognito mode?

You can also follow these steps to verify if you have enabled WebGL and hardware acceleration in Google Chrome:

  1. Launch Google Chrome
  2. In the Address Bar, navigate to chrome://settings/?search=hardware
  3. Verify that "Use hardware acceleration when available" is turned on. Turning it off may fix the issue in some cases if it is already on.
  4. Quit and re-launch Chrome

Please ensure your browser is also updated to the most recent version. You might also need to close your browser & restart your computer.

Additionally, try working on different browsers or on incognito mode to check if that makes any difference & let us know about your observations.

Thanks,

Amitej
