crop tool

The crop tool is missing, whenever I try to crop an image, the tool doesn't show up once selected the image to crop. I'am Mac user

Another option to bring up the Crop tool, in case you are using a supported file type, is to double click on the asset.

Hi,

If you don't see the crop button in the Image panel on the left (see below), you may be using an image from your library or a linked asset (PSD/AI file). We're working on bringing support for cropping linked and library assets soon.

Hello- related- I am trying to crop the shapes in Adobe express and they will not allow me to crop. Is this the same "library" you are referring to above? Becuase I cannot crop I am forced to add a white box over the parts of the shape I want to hide and it is not allowing my logo to be transparent as a result. The only fix I can think of is cropping the shapes but open to other suggestions....If I cannot crop can I export shapes offered in Adobe express to Adobe illustrator to crop? Thank you

By library, I wasn't referring to shapes. There isn't a way to crop shapes directly.

 

Perhaps you could add the shape(s) on their own to individual pages, export them with transparent images, then re-import them?
