Question

Deleted projects still accessible

Yesterday I have deleted 4 very old projects in Adobe Express (Webpages), and I also deleted them in the paperbin in the cloud. So they are really gone, and I have no access to them anymore.

But all of them are still accessible with the original link!

How can this be? How long does it take to finally delete them.

Before I deleted them I tried to remove the public access, this doesn't work.

So I deleted them, this doesn't work either.

Any ideas?

Hey @marieps, Welcome to our Adobe Express community!

This shouldn't be happening! Can you please confirm if these webpage projects were shared projects? Were you the owner or a contributor? Were these the original files, or did they have any duplicates, too?

Have you deleted files from https://adobe.ly/41CUx7Q?

Could you share some of the links to the unpublished and deleted projects that still show up? We'd need them to investigate this!

Please provide us with the information for us to proceed further.

Thanks!

Hallo,

the deleted files are still there! And no, these have not been shared projects, just me.

And yes,  I made a duplicate which got a different link name, before deleting the original ones.

I have deletetd the files from the paper bin.

This ist one if the projects:

https://express.adobe.com/page/btuTTztO1LGv1/

I was expecting an error like: Page not found

Thank you for you help!

Hi @marieps,

Thanks for your response. It sounds like the share links to your deleted Adobe Express Web Pages are still active because the public versions haven’t been unpublished before deletion.

If you still have access to the projects in your account, unpublish them first so the share links become inactive.

Then, go to https://www.adobe.com/files/deleted, and permanently delete the files from there.

Note-  Once a file is permanently deleted from the above link, it cannot be recovered.

Regards,

Tarun
