Download and image issues with new beta version

I am having multiple issues with the new beta version. Firstly, I have converted and transfered files to the new version from the old version. While I can open them to edit and download some of them, the file image is a widget/ icon. See screenshot attached. 

Secondly, I created a new video for FB again a) the file image is a widget icon and b) while I can open it in edit mode, I receieve an error notice when trying to download. I have been experiencing this for 4 days now. I have searched everywhere online for answers. It is extremely frustrating as I need to use these images for business PR. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear you are running into these issues. Could you provide more details about "the error notice when trying to download"? The exact message or a screenshot would help.
