Edit Text in Adobe Express In Video Made A While Ago

Hello.

I created a video in Adobe Express a while back that includes text overlays.

I’d like to remove those text overlays now, but I’m unable to. Is this even possible?

The video file still exists, but I no longer have an active Adobe Express account — could that be why I can’t make edits?

Hi @SparkyCanada, If you have access to the video project under 'Your Stuff', you can easily edit it as required. Adobe Express allows users to work even without premium subscription. You'd just not be able to use the premium features with your free account. 

Can you share the workflow, you're following to edit the video? And we'd also like to know how these text overlays were added at the first place.

Thanks for the reply.

When I open older projects in “Your Stuff,” the videos are still there, but the text overlays can’t be edited.

 

I’m wondering if these videos were originally created in Premiere Pro a long time ago and later brought into Adobe Express to make changes.

 

If a video was first created in Premiere Pro, would those project files still appear here as well?

 

From what I remember, my computer and old editing software was struggling at the time and I may have purchased a short-term Premiere Pro subscription to complete the project. Unfortunately, I can’t find the original Premiere Pro project files on any of my hard drives now.

Thanks for getting back to us. To help us understand the issue better, could you confirm whether the video was originally created from scratch inside Adobe Express? Also, was the text added directly within Express, or was it already part of the video when you uploaded it?

 

If the project began in Premiere Pro and was then exported and brought into Express?
