Editing Text on Files

Question

Hired a designer for logos on Fivver and specifically asked she give me the files in an editable version so I could make changes. It is a page of various logos/taglines provided in a .ai extensions I uploaded to Adobe Express. I cannot seem to make any edits to the text. I can select/click some of the graphic elements (all of which show up as Shape in the left column), but not change any of the text. All the send to front/back options are grayed out so I can't figure out if there's layers somewhere. I'm good with PPT and have used Acrobat, but cannot seem to figure this program out. I can't use anything this person designed for me if I can't edit the images/text. Thanks!

Hi @NYCInsider,Thanks for reaching out! We're sorry to hear about this. Could you please check and see if you're able to edit that file in Adobe Illustrator? If so, try making some changes and then try to upload in Adobe Express to see if that helps. If that doesn't work, ask your designer to share the file again and see if you're able to work on that or not. Regards,Tarun
