Question

Error "Page Unresponsive" after several steps taken. Please help!

I bought a Premiere subscription to Adobe Express, and have been editing without problems for weeks until now.  I'm able to open the app and start to play my timeline but it freezes with a page unresponsive aw, snap message.  I've already tried: Updating Chrome, installing a mac system update, several shut downs, restarts, disabling extensions, deleting browsing and cache files, restarting my modem, freed up memory on my computer.  I'm upset that I don't have anyone I can call even though I'm paying for this service.  I work for a social justice campaign and on a deadline, so any support would be great?

Hey @angry_Unicorn1306, Welcome to our Adobe Express community!

Thank you for sharing all the details and the troubleshooting steps you’ve already tried. That’s helpful information. I understand how frustrating this must be, especially with a deadline.

Since the issue persists, please try some additional checks mentioned below.

Try running Adobe Express in a different browser, like Safari, Firefox, or private/incognito mode, to see if the issue is specific to Chrome. You may also want to try working in

You may also want to check the Hardware acceleration in the Chrome browser. Go to Settings > System and toggle Use hardware acceleration when available (turn it off if it’s on or on if it’s off), then relaunch the browser.

If none of these work, could you let me know if the issue happens with all projects or just this one and would it be possible for yo to share a screen recording of the workflow with the crash with us?

We are here to help, just need more info.

Best,

Thanks Amitej - I turned off the hardwarre accelerator and relaunched - it promted me to turn it back on so I did and relaunched again.  It's still crashing in Chrome.  I then opened it in Safari, and it's a bit glitchy but it plays through.  For now, I"ll work in Safari but would love to fix the Chrome issue.  Any advice?  Maybe the app is corrupt?  Many thanks for you help!

Hi @angry_Unicorn1306,

Thanks for your response. If you recently installed any third-party plugin or extension, please disable it and try again to see if it was causing the issue.

Regards,

Tarun
