Question

express now drops me to an editing page with a background it wont let me make transparent

Express background remover page used to remove background without making other changes, and you didn't even have to sign in. Now it makes you sign in before it will download, which is fine exept it drops you into an editing page that has shrunk the image to about 1/3 and added a colored background. The downloaded image is also reduced by about a third with the rest more background. Trying to resize the image back up to the size of its background in the editor you are forced into is awkward and not precise, there seems no way to automatically size the image back up to its background. Also there is no transparent background option in the editor, it only lets you select solid colors or images. It will even let you select the RGB hex values but no alpha hex value.

Is there a way to have it download the full background removed image like it used to in the first place without reducing the size of the image to a third of its background. Also how do you select a transperant back after the forced drop into its editor. Very frustrating.

Thank you.

I haver a similar issue, however after signing in the image does not download and there are no further prompts.

I can click Download or Cusomize and I get the same result. I'm prompted to sign in and then dropped into the editing page with no image and nothing but a solid colored background.

I used to love this tool and it always worked seamlessly but this problem has been occuring for months. It happens every single time i try to use the feature now.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out and apologies for the frustration.

When not signed in, after the image background is removed you get the option to download or customise it. Clicking on either of the options leads you to signing in to the Adobe account. This is done to help users keep the projects saved and readily available to use anytime, anywhere.

Once signed in to Adobe Express, a screen showing Downloading should be visible.

And the image should be downloaded to your device.

If the image is not downloaded, you can click on the link saying "Click Here" to download the image.

You may also download the image with transparent background from the Download option on the top right side of the Webapp.
