Font Upload in Adobe Express (Enterprise context)

This is an real pain point. The descission to move the upload of user fonts like our own brand font to the "administrator console" is a real desaster. I work in a very large global company being responsible for brand design and brand management and ended up with the European Adobe license administrator to search for 30 minutes in the tools where this should or could be accomplished in the admin tool with no success before we gave up.

Sorry to say that the message box that pops up is completely meaningless because even the IT department has no clue what is meant. Clicking the more info button leads to a page that talks about getting licenses for other Adone applications.

This topic came up during the evaluation phase of pitching AE against Canva and will now drive the decision to go for Canva, since a basic task like defining a brand kit could not be solved even together with IT Admin support.

When I read through the posts from other users about the same topic I think there is an urgent need for action.

For the German speaking readers here is the message box that "explains" what to do.

Hi @Helmut243151150cd5,

Thank you for your patience, and I apologise for any frustrations caused.

I just stumbled across your thread and wanted to know if you still need help.

I understand that new changes can be challenging initially, but users can get used to them with time.

I suggest a workaround: getting your admin to give you product profile admin privileges for Creative Cloud and select the products you require, e.g., Adobe Express. Once you've received your rights, follow the steps "here" to add your custom fonts.

Please let me know how things are going, as I'm here to support you in any way I can, and looking forward to hearing from you.

VG
