Hi!

We have an edicational license where the admin created a library with fonts from Adobe Fonts. We want to be able to share a library with all of the students so everyone can use the same fonts in Adobe Express. But once we opened up the library (or "brand" as it appears in express)  - all but one of the fonts are greyes out and cannot be used. When we try to use it, we get an error messsage.

What is going on here?

Hi @anders_5555. Sorry for any frustration caused. If fonts are grayed out, they might not be fully activated for the specific users trying to access them. Ensure that:

  • The Adobe Fonts service is enabled for all students' Adobe Express accounts.
  • Each student is signed in with the correct account associated with your educational license.
  • Try having your admin re-sync or re-share the library. Make sure that when the library is shared, it’s set to allow full access rather than view-only.
  • Have students try using Adobe Express in a different browser (like Firefox or Edge) to see if it’s a browser-specific problem.
  • Check with your Adobe admin to ensure that the fonts used in the library are properly licensed for educational use. Sometimes, certain fonts may not be fully available under educational licenses, even if they are visible.

Regards.

Hi

@anders_5555

Welcome to the community! I'd like to inform you that the Creative Cloud is offered through several different educational licensing programs, some of which include the complete library and some of which include the basic library. Contact your school's Adobe representative with any questions about the package that you purchased.
