Generating QR Code; Getting message URL is restricted

I am trying to generate a QR code that will take customers to a microsite created specifically for a campaign. I have generated QR codes in Adobe Express for other sites before without issue, but I am getting an error message, “This URL is restricted.” The “Learn More” link attached to the error message takes me to Adobe’s General Terms of Use which isn’t helpful at all.

Can anyone help me deduce why I’m getting this error message?

    It sounds like Adobe Express is flagging the destination URL during validation rather than encountering an issue with the QR code generator itself.

    A few things to check:

    • Try a different URL that you know works to confirm whether the issue is specific to this microsite.

    • Make sure the microsite is publicly accessible (not behind a login, firewall, or other restriction).

    • If it's a brand-new campaign domain or redirect URL, it may be getting caught by automated safety checks.

    If you're comfortable sharing the URL (or a sanitized version of it), I can take a closer look. Otherwise, if the issue persists after testing with another URL, I'd recommend contacting Adobe Support so they can investigate why the URL is being flagged.
