Having Issues with Shared Libraries Importing to Express

Wondering if anybody has been having similar issues as these:

 

1)Within our company we have shared libraries in CC to keep all our brand assets. 

We're looking to integrate Express into our toolbelt but are noticing some issues with importing existing shared libraries from CC to Express. When we moved the shared library into "Business Storage" so that it could be assigned to an express project, it disappeared from our shared CC libraries in our other Adobe applications.

Is it not possible to use just one library for the whole Adobe Suite and Express? Do you need to use a seperate, designated Express Library and keep it seperate from the other Shared libraries among the team?

 

2) We also noticed that fonts don't come in with the CC Library into Express. Do these need to be added manually?

 

3) When importing a CC library, our logos are importing into the "assets" container. However we'd like them to be located in the "logos" container. Is there anyway to just move them over? Or do we need to upload them into this container seperately?

 

Thanks for any insight into these issues.

Hey, thanks for trying out brands and libraries  and projects in Express!

 

1) When you move the library to "Business Storage", each person will need to make sure they re-add the library from the new storage location. To do this you can visit https://assets.adobe.com/more-libraries and find the library you're looking for and click 'Add'.  Then it will appear in the other Adobe applications once again. 

2) Fonts should come in automatically if you saved them into a CC Library on a desktop application. Do you not see the font thumbnail appearing, or is the entire font section completely empty? 

3) There is currently not a way to move a graphic to the logo section, so that is a manual process for now. I'll share this feedback with our design and product managers on the Express team for future improvements.

Thank you so much for this reply! We were able to share the library's back out to the team. I wonder if there would be a way to update and improve shareability in the future since this is kind of a round-about way to accomplish what the other adobe applications are already doing. 

 

We figured out our issues with fonts, thanks for that as well!

 

And thanks for clarifying this. We'll look out for that improved feature in the future!
